My Gypsy soul started at the young age of 6 weeks when I took my first flight to Bermuda...Since that time I have visited almost all 50 states several countries with a goal of visiting all 7 continents... I love learning about different cultures and customs..this blog helps me document my passion to see the world and the memories I have created along the way..I never want to say I wish I had...instead I want to say remember when...

London!
When a great opportunity comes my way, I try not to pass it up! And when London was dangled before me I could not resist. London holds a special place for me... When I was graduating high school, I wanted to go to New York, but after 9/11 happened NY became very expensive and London wasn't so much....So my mum and I jaunted off for 10 days to see London, Cambridge and a couple other outlying towns in England. We got to pay our respects to my great Uncle Charlie who fought and died in WWII we saw what true European hotels were like, we hauled giant suit cases that screamed American Tourist, we saw how royalty lived, we shopped on Oxford street stopped at Harrods picking up some perfume...it was a grand time. I have always wanted to go back however I never could convince my travel buddies to go with me as there are so many other beautiful places to see. And by going back I am not counting the time I got stuck for two days in London trying to get to Paris or the time I stopped in on my way to Scotland... So when the opportunity to go along with a friend to renew her UK passport, I gladly accepted and had so much fun. We did the London Day tour, took a river cruise along the Thames, Saw Oxford and parts where Harry Potter was filmed (That was cool!), Visited Stratford Upon Avon (Avon being the river there so it is actually Stratford upon the River) seeing the birthplace of Shakespeare (As an SUU grad that made my year!) and seeing the Globe theater where Shakspeare's work was performed, Stopping in the Cotswalds to see how the more affluent live, enjoying the morning at the Castle Warwick, doing a bit of shopping on Oxford Street, getting off the underground at the wrong stop and having to grab a Taxi to get us safe to our hotel! It was a grand adventure indeed! I love seeing the world and all its splendors! Jolly Ho!
